Improved Customer Experience
When customers expect to order an item and are told the item is no longer available, it not only slows down the ordering process, but the disappointment can be damaging to your brand. That’s why 86/68 is a key feature for your digital menu boards.
Cycle Product Availablity Easily and Automatically
A perfect use case for 86/68 is employed by “The Soup Peddler”, a smoothie, sandwich, and soup shop in Austin, TX. The brand rotates their soups and there are a total of 50 soups in the PoS. When they run out of one soup, the next soup may be a completely different soup. This is easily managed from their PoS with Menuboard Manager. They simply 86 one soup and 68 the next soup they are bringing out in the rotation. The menu boards automatically update, removing the depleted soup and then showing the newly available soup. “This is a game-changer for The Soup Peddler and the main reason we have been moving to digital”, says David Ansel, Owner of The Soup Peddler in Austin, TX.
PoS Integration
The 86/68 feature works seamlessly with integrations, so when a product is 86’ed in the PoS, the menu boards update instantly. The integration is available with Toast, NorthStar, and coming soon, Qu PoS systems.
Menu Accuracy
Easily ensure menu accuracy and reduce customer confusion or complaints.
These benefits position Menuboard Manager as a powerful tool to help restaurants optimize operations and improve customer interactions while reducing costs.
